If you are having a loft conversion, have you considered having air-conditioning installed for heating as well as cooling? This would negate the need for radiators.

We would recommend getting in contact before your loft conversion starts as it's easier to discuss location of pipework etc. in the intial stages with you and your building contractor as opposed to halfway through your build. However, if this does not work for you, we have installed air-conditioning post loft conversion, it just reduces your options in terms of location and unit choice.

All of the air-conditioning systems that we install can qualify for 100% tax relief under the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme for energy saving technologies for business.

This means that businesses can write off the whole cost of the equipment against taxable profit in the year of purchase (if eligible). This is especially useful given how many people are working from their newly built home-offices and this would be the only form of heating in the room.
We do, however, recommend that you double check with your accountant to ensure that your business qualifies for the ECA scheme if this is the route you wish to undertake.
Servicing and maintaining your system makes a big difference to your running costs.

Having regular, professional maintenance ensures that your system is running as efficiently as possible, thus keeping your electricity bills as low as possible.
We therefore recommend servicing a home system by a professional at least once a year, and commercial systems twice a year, depending on use.
If you highlight to our engineer that there is an asthmatic or hay fever sufferer that will be using the air-conditioning, this will be factored into the maintenance visits and the filter will be replaced as opposed to cleaning.
